Miss Gemma Bangcal
Miss Gemma Bangcal is a part – time lecturer of the College of Education. She has earned her PhD in Educational Management through a Transnational Education in Bangkok, Thailand in 2015. She has earned her
Master of Arts in Education major in Guidance and Counseling and Bachelor of Science major in Psychology at Silliman University, Dumaguete City, Philippines in 2009 and 1995 respectively. She also received a Fellowship at the Center for Development Innovation (CDI), Wageningen, Netherlands in 2014.
As an educator by Profession, Miss Gemma has worked with Universities in the Philippines, though she spent most of her time as the
Acting Head of Guidance and Evaluation Department. She has taught Educational Psychology, Values Education, Introduction to Psychology, Mental Health and Hygiene, Career and Personality Development and Personality Enhancement Program.
Miss Gemma was also connected with Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO) for a total of 5 years - in Cambodia and Papua New Guinea working in the Education, good governance, and community development sectors.
